ABOUT ME:
Tanaisa Shaw is an broadcast reporter currently based out of Madison, WI.
Tanaisa began working in Madison for WISC in July, 2024. While working in Madison, Tanaisa covered the Abundant Life School Shooting, 2024 presidential election in battleground Wisconsin, the fallout at Sun Prairie Area School District's School Board, and more. In addition to reporting, Tanaisa also fills in on the anchor desk, produces and helped launch Channel 3's Black History Month series.
Before being an on-air talent Tanaisa produced in Milwaukee at WISN-12 from July 2022 to July 2024. Since then, she's covered national stories such as the Waukesha Parade Tragedy, the killing of Office Peter Jerving and the flip of Wisconsin's Supreme Court ideological balance. In this role, Tanaisa also highlighted Milwaukee's community by showcasing interviews, producing WISN-12's 2024 Black History Month Special, co-producing Milwaukee's annual Juneteenth special and pitching exclusive content.
Tanaisa is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, INC. She's serves on several media related committees and dedicates time to mentor college age students.
